We have been passionate winegrowers for four generations. This is what we as the Koegler family stand for with our name. Our wines contain our passion and the portion of creativity that it takes to create something new. The core are our vineyards. Our ancestors have been growing Riesling wines in the Rheingau for hundreds of years.
At the age of 26, Ferdinand Koegler took over the then 7-hectare winery. At a young age he was able to realize his individual ideas of good wine. This has shaped him and his winery to this day. Today, 34 hectares of the best Rheingau vineyards belong to the winery.
After his apprenticeship as a winemaker in the winery of the city of Frankfurt, he completed his studies at the Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences in viticulture and oenology. He learned completely new approaches through his internships at wineries such as La Motte in South Africa and through his studies at the Wine University Davis California.

We welcome you to our wine stand in the courtyard for wine and small delicacies. When the weather is nice, you will also find space to linger and relax outside in our estate at the wine stand or in our rose garden. We are open for you all year round.
Choose the right combination for you from our wines and a small selection of tarte flambée from Alsace inside at our counter or outside at the wine stand.
