The Rheingau Riesling mild from Weingut Koegler is a true Rheingau classic: it comes with a well-tasting sweetness that pairs with lively acidity. The latter in turn gives the wine a delicate backbone. This Riesling goes well with many sweet dishes, whether fruity sweet or chocolatey. In addition, its elegant style perfectly buffers the spicy aromas of Asian cuisine. The Rheingau Riesling mild is the perfect wine for all new wine drinkers and has the ability to convince anyone who likes sweet wines. Winemaker Ferdinand Koegler operates in the fourth generation of winemaking. At just 26 years old, he took over the then seven-hectare winery and has expanded it to today's 34 hectares with the best Rheingau locations. No wonder that for him, the vineyards are the heart of his work. The Weingut Koegler has an interesting history to offer: it is known that in 1467, the first dictionary to be printed in the world was printed in the courtyard of the winery: the "Vocabularius Ex Quo."
